30 January 2025, Johannesburg – The Federated Employers Mutual Assurance Company (RF) (Pty) Ltd (FEM) has introduced its new logo and brand identity. FEM is a mutual insurer providing workmen’s compensation cover to the construction industry. The refreshed logo and brand identity were initially unveiled at the 2024 Safetember health & safety conference hosted by FEM.
Introducing the new branding at the live event, FEM Marketing and Communications Manager, Nomawethu Toyo, stated that the time had come for the legacy brand to adopt a refreshed image, signifying the evolution of the FEM brand and its ongoing commitment to innovation, efficiency, and reliability in service delivery. The updated image ensures the brand’s visual identity remains cohesive and impactful while easily recognisable to stakeholders.
“The new FEM brand features a bold, iconic design style, prominently incorporating a brand symbol inspired by an aperture lens, creatively formed by the ‘F’ in FEM. This symbol embodies the unity, community, and mutuality at the core of FEM’s values. At the same time, the aperture lens highlights the company’s focus on efficiency, reliability, and trustworthiness in its service delivery. The logos and visuals have been designed using six primary FEM colours, offering a dynamic and vibrant representation of the company’s core values,” said Toyo.
Additionally, FEM has unveiled its newly revamped website, designed to provide a fresh, user-friendly experience with an intuitive layout and enhanced navigation. Visit www.fem.co.za to explore the new design and discover the improved features.
